The wax pen is made to pick up rhinestones and other tiny pieces with ease. You'll need a regular pencil sharpener to sharpen the tip, but don't shappen it too much as you'll need a bigger contact surface to pick up the rhinestones.

Don't heat it up! Wax is sticky enough on it's own.
